Palm Jumeirah
Built in 2001, Palm Jumeirah was the first project of many. It is a man-made island shaped like a palm leaf. Palm Jumeirah doubled the available shoreline in Dubai and became a place where one could find luxury hotels, retail stores, beautiful homes, fun activities, and many entertainment opportunities. The Trump International Hotel and Tower is the crown jewel of Palm Jumeirah.
Palm Jebel Ali
Palm Jebel Ali is the second Palm Island Dubai property built and is 100% shoreline. When it is complete, there will be elegant hotels and homes on the water built up on stilts. This mall provides a one of a kind shopping experience and is the home of a large number of exhibitions and festivals.
Discovery Gardens
Discovery Gardens was created to mimic garden living and is a lovely residential community found in Jebel Ali. Discovery Gardens contains 26,000+ apartment units of all sizes and consists of 26 million sq. ft. of property. Discovery Gardens is immediately next to the Ibn Battuta Mall, the most popular shopping and entertainment complex in Dubai.
International City
International City will soon be the business and culture center of the Middle East and all the countries around it. This is an interesting 800-hectare development that contains all types of properties including commercial, residential, tourism, and retail from all around the world. The reason for the name of International City is that there are all types of country-specific architectural styles used in the development that represent countries from around the world.
The Gardens
The Gardens is a great residential community for families near Jebel Ali Village. Al Furjan
Al Furjan was inspired by a famous phrase used in Dubai in the past. This complex is made up of the Dragon Mart, which is the trading hub, as well as eight large well equipped warehouses and 25 residential complexes. Mina Rashid
The Mina Rashid area is set to be redeveloped and part of that will be expanding the area of the existing Mina Rashid by using land reclamation. When it is completed, the new development at Mina Rashid will be a modern waterfront community set right on the lovely coastline and conveniently located near Bar Dubai. After it is completed, it is estimated that this community will house as many as 200,000 residents in stylish, modern homes, and apartment units.
The Universe
The Universe is going to be built right off the Dubai coastline near the Palm Jumeirah and The World. This is going to be the most amazing development from Nakheel yet. The plans are for this community to be completely self-sustaining based on the Blue Communities initiative, which is a commitment to building eco-friendly and sustainable communities in Dubai.
At the Universe, you will find luxurious homes, many stores and businesses, and access to the coastline. This will all help Dubai continue to grow and prosper as both a business center in the world and as a popular tourist destination.
When it is done, The Universe is going to be an amazing feet of engineering and will be based on new eco-friendly construction methods. The studies being done now to determine the construction plans are not completed but will be soon.
