The Dubai Palm Islands are man-made islands situated in Dubai, UAE shaped like a palm tree, hence the name. It was originally thought that the Dubai Palm Islands would be completed in 10 to 15 years but the worldwide credit crunch that affected Dubai, as well as the rest of the world, may affect that investment time line.
